Minimum Wage Ontario 2024 April. Toronto — the ontario government is increasing the minimum wage from $16.55 per hour to $17.20, effective october 1, 2024. The federal new minimum wage in canada will rise from $16.65 to $17.30 per hour on april 1, 2024, in order to keep up with inflation.
